Electronic Bill Payment
Valley offers two electronic methods to pay your electric bill, E-Bill and pay by phone.
E-Bill
In October 2010, Valley Rural Electric Cooperative launched an online bill presentment and payment service called E-Bill. You can access your account history and pay your electric bills online using E-Bill’s secure interface. Some key features of E-Bill include:
-
View your history
You are able to view your current and historical billing information, payment history, energy use history graphs, and capital credits information. -
Process your payments
You can use a major credit card, debit card, or electronic check transaction to pay your electric bill. You may also set up (or stop) recurring payments and even sign up for a new electric service. -
Receive email notification
You have the option to receive an email notification when a new bill is generated. The email includes a link for easy navigation directly to your billing information. By clicking on the link, you can use E-Bill to review your information or pay your bill.
To access E-Bill, click on View & Pay Bill at the top of the page or in the menu on the left side of the page. The E-Bill interface will appear in a new and secure browser tab or window. Remember to log off E-Bill when you are finished to protect your account information.

NOTE:
In addition to online bill payment, you may also make payments by credit card (Discover, MasterCard, or Visa) or debit card in person at any Valley REC office location.
Pay by Phone

In October 2011, Valley Rural Electric Cooperative launched a pay-by-phone option. You may pay your electric bill securely over the phone by calling 800/432-0680 and following the automated prompt for phone payment (option 5). There will be a delay of about eight seconds while your call is transferred into the payment system. Payments can be made by credit card, debit card, or bank draft from a checking account anytime of the day or night, not just during normal business hours.
For privacy and security reasons, Valley’s employees are not permitted to process payments directly over the phone. If you wish to pay by phone, please use the automated phone system.
