Fees

| Account processing fee | $25 | This fee is required from all consumers desiring electric service with the cooperative. It is not refundable. |
| Security deposit | $200 | A security deposit is required from all consumers applying for electric service. The deposit will be refunded upon establishment of credit according to the cooperative’s policy guidelines. This deposit is refundable when you stop receiving service, or it can be applied to your final bill. |
| Meter reading fee | $25 | Members are asked to send in, drop off, or submit their meter readings monthly. If a member does not read the meter and a cooperative employee reads it, the member will be charged this fee. |
| Meter test fee | $50 | This amount is refunded if the meter proves to be inaccurate by 2 percent or more. |
| Collection fee | $25 | If it is necessary for a co-op employee to drive to the member’s property to collect payment, a collection fee will be added for each trip. |
| Disconnect fee | $25 | This fee is charged when an account is disconnected due to delinquency or when any meter is disconnected and reconnected under the same account name. |
| Reconnect fee |
$25 or $60 special trip |
This fee is charged when an account is reconnected after disconnection due to delinquency or when any meter is disconnected and reconnected under the same account name. If the reconnection can take place when a crew is in the area of the service location, the fee will be $25. If the reconnection requires a crew to make a special trip to the service location, the fee will be $60. |
| After-hours reconnect fee |
$300 weekdays or $500 weekends |
This fee is charged when an account is reconnected during non-working hours after disconnection due to delinquency. Unless the work can be completed within regular co-op working hours (Monday through Thursday 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.), the after-hours reconnect fee will be charged in addition to the disconnect fee and the reconnect fee noted above. This fee must be paid before connection is made. |

This is the price to construct underground single-phase primary line to the service location from existing cooperative lines. It does not include the cost of trenching or backfilling. |
| Right-of-way clearing | $2.00 | The cooperative charges for trimming trees and clearing brush in the right-of-way to the service location. |
| Chipping brush | $1.25 | The cooperative charges for chipping brush in the right-of-way to the service location. |
If crews are called out for a problem that is found to be the member’s and not the cooperative’s responsibility, the member will be charged labor and mileage costs for the trip.
