Valley REC's Annual Meeting

Valley Rural Electric Cooperative will hold its 2026 Annual Meeting from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 10 at the Huntingdon County Fairgrounds (located directly across from our corporate office). Members can arrive anytime between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Once again, the co-op will use a drive-thru format. Valley REC members will follow one of two routes that will take them through a tent or gate, where they will register and receive the co-op's annual report and a ballot. At another tent near the exit, members will cast their ballots to fill three seats on the nine-person board of directors. They also will receive a door prize before departing the fairgrounds.
We've planned the vehicle routes so that each member's total time at the fairgrounds should be only a few minutes. Members can mark their ballots as the vehicles move from the registration areas to the exit tent. The routes are long enough to allow time for marking of ballots.
Be sure to bring your registration card, which was mailed along with an invitation letter in March. If you misplaced your registration card, our employees will be able to look up your membership and register you manually.
